Article This article is talking about how social media is important for events. It is brought up that social media is a good way to spread awareness of the event as so many people are already on their phone. It also helps to direct the event promotion to the right target audience as the platforms can provide information on the demographics of its users. The platforms can also be used by attendees to share what is going on at the event and interact with the people at the event for things such as contests. Article The article is about how to make you social media more personable. One of the tips is avoid over used phrasings or calls to actions just to seem more original and creative. The second tip is to avoid blanket statements to avoid depersonalizing the experience for people and make it seem like a one on one experience. Article This article covered ways to have successful social media marketing. The first item tackled is to have a plan and not just post everything and anything. The suggestions were to post about what your target audience finds relevant and post about the key selling features with your products. The second tip was to adjust the content to what platform it is on due to having different demographics or users on different platforms. Also, the content has to be altered depending on formats for each platform whether it be text, video or pictures. Finally, do not have more than three social media platforms.
